Frost Equity Initiative pilots a new youth robotics program
Frost Equity Initiative, a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) nonprofit, piloted its first robotics club on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the NEW Women’s Business Center in Reseda. The club test-drove recently purchased devices and robots funded by individual donations and grants. In the club, students as young as six learned basic physics principles and created simple programs using block-style coding.
This was a free event for valley-area youth and it helped Frost Equity prepare to launch robotics clubs in schools this spring. Eleven students attended the event with their parents. Ronnie Frost, Frost Equity Initiative's Executive Director, thanks the New Women's Business Center for providing their space and being a wonderful community partner.
