All-Women Activision panel joins Frost Equity Initiative at USC for a Hispanic Heritage Event
Frost Equity Initiative partnered with Activision and the University of Southern California to host a Hispanic Heritage Month STEM Event for over 100 Los Angeles Unified School District students. The event was held on Saturday, October 14th, and highlighted notable achievements of Hispanic Americans in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics). A diverse panel of guest speakers from Activision joined and discussed their experiences working in the gaming industry. Additionally, our Money Coach, Taryn "T-Money" Ferrer, led a Fun with Money workshop.
The students had a blast engaging with the speakers. We look forward to partnering with USC and the surrounding community for future events.
Frost Equity Initiative’s mission is to provide underrepresented students early exposure to STEM careers and training.
